\nAnyway, to elaborate...New England championships could clarify who is best in the region....but might not due to absence of Mass. Christian Alvarado of Conn. Made Footlocker last year but was so far back there he really holds no edge this year and the race should be wide open.
\nWhat happens now to runners in states that have essentially finished season and must wait for regionals...while in NJ, for example, top runners could have three races in state ladder to go? Which is more valuable now, rest or keeping race sharp?","date_added":"Nov 8th 2013, 7:05pm","nest":0,"liked":false,"member":[],"can_delete":false,"item_id":195497,"item_type":"news","pb_image":"i\/no_avatar.png","pb_title":"Bsarno1","pb_url":"profile.php?member_id=45736","pb_url_dns":"https:\/\/Bsarno1.runnerspace.com\/","pb_wally_id":"1116260"},"907324":{"pb_id":"42418","pb_type":"members","likes":"0","parent_id":"0","pid":"907324","comment_id":"907324","member_id":"42418","comment":"

\nRunners beginning to sort themselves out in races that mean something. I think your individual rankings get better each week. I think you've got these kids slotted very fairly right now, based on what they've done. Especially not giving kids too much credit for one big win. #1 boy is hard, because as fast as Cerake has run, he still hasn't raced anyone. But still seems like best option.","date_added":"Nov 8th 2013, 1:47am","nest":0,"liked":false,"member":[],"can_delete":false,"item_id":195497,"item_type":"news","pb_image":"\/\/www.runnerspace.com\/forum\/uploads\/av-42418.jpeg","pb_title":"SteveU","pb_url":"profile.php?member_id=42418","pb_url_dns":"https:\/\/SteveU.runnerspace.com\/","pb_wally_id":"1030740"},"907220":{"pb_id":"4588","pb_type":"members","likes":"0","parent_id":"0","pid":"907220","comment_id":"907220","member_id":"4588","comment":"Doug -

\nInteresting to see where you ended up with the 5 Californians - Haney, Braude, Corcoran, Fahy, and Tamagno. I agree with keeping Haney on top based on his earlier season achievements. Everyone deserves one off race (Mt. Sac). Braude second is reasonably based on his top Mt. Sac peformance, but he's a bit of a wild card with that single huge race. I have to give credit to Fahy for fighting so hard across the line at Mt. Sac then collapsing - that kid has guts. Tamagno has huge upside being so young, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him end up on top in a month. Then there's Corcoran, the kid who always pushed the pace and got swallowed up, is finally learning how to be a predator himself.
\n
\nSo I guess I'm saying these 5 Californian's are VERY close, and I can't imagine having your job trying integrate those performances with the with another 49 states. Great job - the fun is just beginning!","date_added":"Nov 7th 2013, 8:27pm","nest":0,"liked":false,"member":[],"can_delete":false,"item_id":195497,"item_type":"news","pb_image":"\/\/www.runnerspace.com\/forum\/uploads\/av-4588.jpg","pb_title":"Scott Joerger","pb_url":"profile.php?member_id=4588","pb_url_dns":"https:\/\/ScottJoerger.runnerspace.com\/","pb_wally_id":"388"}},"last_id":"907220","url":"comments.php?item_type=news&item_id=195497&item_url=gprofile.php?mgroup_id=44531"}
